Who We Are

Claudia Stack has worked in education for 20 years.  She currently teaches Special Education at a rural NC high school.  In 1992 she earned a Master's degree in Education from Harvard University.  Stack has published books and articles on a wide variety of topics. She is available to do film and Powerpoint presentations on the history of Rosenwald schools in Southeastern North Carolina. Contact Claudia Stack

Kyle Holt is a graduate student in Computer Science.  He has been designing websites and producing video for ten years. 

The Under the Kudzu project  recognizes the value  of Pender County school history.

We seek to preserve the memory of African-American schools and white schools in Pender County from Reconstruction through 1970.
